Over the next few weeks we will be learning about our capital stewardship program that we are calling, Multiplying Ministry. During this time, we will be receiving information packets, studying ...
As a matter of sound financial principles and good stewardship, our goal is to pay off our mortgage. Especially in these difficult economic times, debt is a serious concern. It is our desire to use the financial gifts God has given us for ministry rather than mortgage.
Our hope for this stewardship program, Multiplying Minstry, is to raise a million and a half dollars over the next three years. This will retire our debt and move us forward in ministry. To meet this goal we are asking every member to give over and above your giving to Hibben’s operational budget. In a few weeks, you will be provided a Commitment Card. On May 2, 2010 we will make our commitments to God as an act of praise during our worship services.
We believe that, as with the Loaves and Fishes, God will take what we offer and abundantly multiply it to feed hungry souls and bodies.
Thanks be to God!
